Have you ever wondered what it takes to succeed in internet marketing?
I have been researching the topic of success for a long time and constantly keep discovering new aspects to it, some of which were developed unconsciously or subconsciously throughout my internet marketing experience. Of course many of them were developed consciously and have influenced my internet marketing success greatly.
You see, there are some myths about Internet Marketing Success which currently are holding a large number of marketers back. Those marketing myths are limiting people’s beliefs and holding them back from marketing success.
I want to discuss some of those myths, not all of them, but the Major ones which are currently responsible for the enormous failure rates in the internet marketing/home based business industry.
Myth #1: Internet Marketing Is Easier Than Manual Labor
Having experienced the great ‘pleasure’ of working numerous different jobs, I can state with 110% confidence that working on a construction site or at a chemical plant is much more easier than making a full time income on the internet. The reason being the fact, that when you’re working physically, it doesn’t require you to think much. It is mostly the same tasks over and over again. Piling bricks doesn’t require you to have any kind of intelligence or financial IQ what so ever. Painting walls doesn’t require you to have a strong sense of determination and persistence to get the job done. Besides, in Internet Marketing the job is never done. You can always go for more! The opportunity is endless and that is one the reasons I love Marketing Online So Much!
Myth #2: Internet Marketing is ‘Quick Easy Money’
No it’s Not! Most of the ‘Overnight’ Success stories you see online everyday are at least 1, 2, 5 or more years in the making. Marketing requires great self-development and constant work! Internet Marketing requires Mindset Development and a hell of a character. Marketing is more than just generating pay per click traffic to a company replicated website, it is much more than ranking on the 1st page of Google. Marketing is about investing HUGE amounts of time and energy into your business in order to really make it work!
Myth #3: People Who Say They Are Making Money Online Are Scammers
This is one of my favorite myths about running a business online. People’s beliefs today are so limited that they consider everything to be a scam! LOL! Couple of days ago I overheard a conversation between a-14 year old kid and her father. The kid was asking her dad to buy her hair extensions online. I couldn’t believe the answer I heard. Her dad said that it is very dangerous to enter your credit card information online because then it will be hijacked and hackers will steal your money. Hearing that kind of an answer today, in the 21st century, when there are stores like EBay and Amazon along with numerous others, made laugh my socks off!
Myth #4: It’s Too Late to Start a Business Online
Somehow, I meet many people who tend to think that it is too late to start a business online. I really have no idea why, but many of them believe that there are people who already are doing what they want to do and that there is no chance of them succeeding because of that. This is one of most limiting beliefs I have ever witnessed. The only thing which is holding people back from success are themselves! There is no other force in the world capable of holding someone back from internet marketing success.
Myth #5: In Order To Make Money Online You Have To Be a Computer Genius
This one never gets old. Internet Marketing doesn’t require you to know much about technology, computers or the internet. Web 2.0 can be mastered by anyone from a kid to a grandpa and everyone in the middle. There are tutorials for every single technical aspect of building a business online and there are even people who will do the technical work for you. Moreover, they will do it better than you ever could since they are professionals and know their way around.
I could go on and on listing the different marketing myths but there is no point in doing so since that is not my agenda. My purpose is to raise awareness and help people understand that nothing can hold them back from success. This is what internet marketing is all about-making it happen my friends.
