Copywriting Guide for Bloggers

CopywritingIf you are a newbie blogger, than you probably have no clue how to craft your blogs posts in order to squeeze the most out of each and every one of them.

In the past few years, blogging became a profession and there are plenty of people who do it for a living. Just of the top of my head names like Darren Rowse and John Chow pop out instantly. My point is that blogging is a full time job and it requires a professional skill like any other type of work.

In order to be a successful blogger you will have to really understand who your target audience is. Who are you blogging to? Is it an internet marketing targeted blog or is it social media blog? Even if it is just something you like to do for fun, still the urge to be the best in your area of expertise prevails. It is just a human nature.

My first advice to you, if you are a starting blogger, is to visit some of the famous and most popular blogs on the web and see how they do it. For example, if you are a subscriber to the pro-blogger you will notice that Darren Rowse likes to keep it simple and to the chase. He never wastes too many words. Follow the top bloggers for a while and see if you can spot a pattern to each of them. Maybe you will find some similarities, who knows?

To this day, I haven’t seen someone put out a product which was a targeted copywriting guide for bloggers, sort of like a copywriting manual for a newbie blogger. Maybe it is an unexplored niche you can dominate as soon as you learn blogging copywriting strategies and will be ready to share them with the world.

Important thing to point out, that despite the fact that there is no copywriting course for bloggers there is no reason for you not to become one of the top bloggers out there. Remember everything can be learned through experiences and testing. Start testing the response you get from certain posts in comparison to others. Start testing and experimenting with your copywriting skills and you will make it to the top of the blogging Olympus!
