micro-hoo

It’s official!

Yahoo and Microsoft are now teaming up to reinforce each other. Yahoo will be powering paid ads on Bing while Microsoft will be powering Yahoo search.

Get more details concerning the deal here.

This deal promises a tremendous benefit for any internet marketer who does Pay Per Click advertising. This deal can potentially result in ad costs going down in addition to Google knocking off being so uptight about advertising (SLAP!).

The deal goes live in 2010, so it’s not final just yet – but it is sure gives hope to low budget ad campaigns.

Of course, this is my personal guess. What are your thoughts regarding the Micro-hoo deal? Leave a comment!

Thanks for the quick note, Igor. It’s time for the big G to feel some ‘slap!’

The deal permits Yahoo to focus on entertaining the audience and selling access to advertisers. Microsofts gets to focus on technology, which is where they are strong. If Microsoft is lucky they can find a way to provide the technology that runs the internet without having to learn how to balance audience, advertisers and content.
