I keep track of not only business related information, but all my appointments and other commitments with the kids, eg: dancing lessons, swimming lessons, play dates, kinder meetings, school meetings, due dates to pay bills, when I've got the car booked in for a service, when we're going on holidays! ... the list goes on!
