Nice post and if I can add a good free software for submitting to many web directories at once then let it be known what I use. It is called fast directory submit. Com and is a safe free download.

PageRank is an algorithim google invented that assesses the strength of a website. The algorithim evaluates a site on a scale of n/a to 10 with 0 being the lowest/weakest and 10 being the highest/strongest. We can check our site's rank by using a pagerank checker tool.

This great information. I hate how long it takes to get listed in the directories. Although submitting to directories is a great way to get a free link, sometimes it is frustrating to see how long it takes to get reviewed.
