this example of the “N” word and your Dad shows
that the best way to change the other person is by
leading with an example.

As soon as you become a leader, by behaving the
way you believe is right, without judging the other
person-he is not resistant to you or your beliefs, better
yet, he starts to pay attention!

Igor,
People often do judge others. I know my dad can not stand that I will not say the “N” word pertaining to a black person. When I was younger I did, I thought the way he did. The way his parents did. I figured out they are no different than me. Now, my dad respects me and does not say the “N” word around me.

Well, it will take a great deal of awareness to change
the way each person in the whole world perceives
people around him. I wonder whether there’s some kind
of a huge ray gun to do this?

Sadly, that’s exactly what happens, Eric.

We do judge people based on appearance, skin colour,
language and clothes. We shouldn’t, but we do it anyway.

Too often we forget that other people are just like us. We think they are like everyone else like them. We often hate it when people judge us and yet turn around and do exactly the same thing to others.

If we judge everyone by who they are as individual human beings (harder done online, of course) and then we come to find they’re not that great, that’s just it, them, not everyone like them, just that one individual person. Don’t let that one person allow you to judge another just because of background or taste in something like music or anything of that nature.

You want someone to judge you for you and not for something about you that they had a bad experience with by someone else so do the same and let the person be judged on their own. We are all unique in our own way and the only way to find out is to at least discover each and every time.
