Double Optin vs Single Optin: More Leads vs Better Response

The “Double Optin vs Single Optin” argument is as old as my grandma’s radio. Some say it’s better to use Single Optin because often only about 50% of people confirm, which means you get half of the leads you actually generate.

Others agree that Double Optin is a smart move in a long run since response rates are much higher and there’s no way to get in trouble for SPAM, since the prospect has to double-confirm that he wants to be on your list.
